We, Paul Mason Properties SIA (hereinafter “company” or “we”), respect your privacy and are committed to protect it through compliance with this privacy policy (hereinafter the “Privacy Policy”). 1. What personal data do we process and why?

When you register for a competition for 1-6 grades "Sounds like Christmas, sounds like home” you provide us with your personal data, which we will process. We process your provided data legally and use them for the purposes stated below:

a) For the purpose of registering for the competition for 1-6 grades "Sounds like Christmas, sounds like home”, as well as communicating with the winners and organizing the educational tour.

We process your personal data with the aim to administer, organize and implement the competition for 1-6 grades "Sounds like Christmas, sounds like home”.

Your name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number and images (photos and / or a video) are necessary for the purpose of registering for the competition and communicating with you in case if you are one of the winners of the educational tour “Trip to  Sweden”.

Participation in the competition is not obligatory. However, if you wish to participate, you must provide us with the above-mentioned personal data.
 

2. How do we collect information about you?

We receive your personal data from you when you register for the competition.
 

3. How long do we store your personal data?

We will store your personal data for 2 (two) years. Upon the expiry of this period, we will safely delete or depersonalize your personal data so that they cannot be linked to you. The above-mentioned personal data may only be stored for longer if the company has to provide it to public authorities in order to defend its interests (e.g., in civil proceedings, in the event of investigations by public authorities, etc.).
 

4. To whom we can disclose your personal data?

We can disclose your personal data to:
  1. For companies that we work with
    Personal data are disclosed to the companies, which provides us services, i.e. data processors, such as companies providing IT maintenance services. All these companies must ensure equivalent protection of your personal data, must not use it for unauthorised purposes and ensure that their partners are to act the same way.
  2. For state and municipal institutions and other entities performing functions assigned to them by the law
    We transfer your personal data to state and municipal institutions and other entities performing functions assigned to the by the law, upon receipt of their request or if we are obliged to provide such data in accordance with legislation or if we seek our legitimate interest to declare, fulfil or protect legal requirements.

5. Protection of personal data

We treat your personal data in a responsible manner.

We use technical and organisational security measures to protect your data. Data is stored safely and is accessible to limited number  of persons.

Your rights are as follows:
  1. the right to receive information whether we process your personal data and the right to access your personal data. That’s why we inform you in advance about our processing activities via this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions, or would you like to learn more about what information we process from you, you are always welcome to contact us and we will provide you with further information;
  2. the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal data;
  3. the right to delete your personal data, if you believe there no longer is any need for us to keep it. Or, if you previously have given your permission, you can just decide to withdraw it. This does not apply where processing is necessary to exercise the right of freedom of expression and information, for the compliance with a legal obligation or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
  4. the right to receive yourself or transfer your personal data to another company (known as the right to data portability). This right is not applicable when personal data processing is automated based on your consent or upon signing an agreement;
  5. the right to restrict the processing of your personal data in some circumstances. This means we will continue to store your information, but we will temporarily stop any other processing. Why would you want to do this? For example, if you have asked us to fix incorrect information. In this situation you may want us to stop processing until the information is correct;
  6. the right to object to our processing. This applies when data processing is based on legitimate interests pursued by us or by a third party. You can do this when you believe that your personal interest outweighs ours;

You also have the right to make a complaint to the Data state inspectorate (http://www.dvi.gov.lv/en/) if you believe that the processing of personal data by us does not comply with applicable legislation.

We review our Privacy Policy on a regular basis. This Privacy Policy was prepared on the 21st of November 2022.
