A great painting starts with a blank canvas and a great interior starts with an empty room. This time, the room destined for a makeover is almost like a blank canvas, as the owners Karīna and Reinis have recently moved in. The more time we spend at home, the more important the surroundings are. Sometimes people perceive order and cosiness as two different things – order being something stiff and cosiness being a bit messy and careless. Actually, order and cosiness are not that contrasting at all and they do go hand in hand. A home that does not annoy and return to with pleasure is a win. Cosiness does mean clothes or dishware all over the place. We can use candles, textiles, scents, personal belongings, pictures in frames and other items to create cosy atmosphere. However, keep in mind that the mentioned items will look much better in an orderly place.
Many of us have spent our childhood in the same room as our siblings, and many of us now have to figure out how to accommodate several children in the same room.
