“My home with IKEA” gives a bright new beginning
Meet the first heros of the TV project “Manas mājas ar IKEA”. In the family of four, the children room needed rearranging for it was suitable for one, but now it has to be a multifuctional living space for two. The girls' room in the making. IKEA interior designer Ieva is always full of ideas, and she is up for the task.
One room, many functions
Dace and Benjamin met about 7 years ago in USA and were brought together by a music project. Since moving to Latvia they have bought an apartment in Ogre and styled it the best they could but would like some change. In this apartment, IKEA interior designer Elīna will face the challenge of fitting many functions in one small room, as it is used for working, resting, playing and storing.
Ideas for better sleep in a shared children’s bedroom
Sharing a bedroom is usually easier if you give both children room for privacy and expressing their individual personalities. This way they get enough me-space to learn to appreciate the advantages of sharing: the connection and sense of security in each other’s company.
