Bedroom Makeover in Jelgava
A loving couple, a small room and some 40-year-old furniture. This time, "Home Idea with IKEA" visits Jelgava where a special challenge awaits IKEA Interior Designer Dagne – she will create a whole new retreat for this lovely couple.
Helga and Andris have been married for 40 years and have lived the last 20 in their own cosy house in Jelgava. After giving all the best to their children and renovating their rooms it somehow never came to renovating their own bedroom.
A kitchen as a hub of activity
In the 8th episode of "Home idea with IKEA" it is all about a kitchen that is so much more than just a kitchen. In this centre of group apartments and workshop premises, kitchen is a place for eating and for cooking and also for celebrating together, socialising and at times learning new skills together. The one who invited IKEA team was Olga, who works with teaching the principles of healthy eating to the inhabitants.
One solution has to fit all: a makeover in a crisis centre
The last episode of the season is special in more than one way. Not only is it linked to IKEA social responsibility project "Notice violence", it also presents a huge challenge for the IKEA interior designer Elīna. Her task is to freshen up a kitchen of a crisis centre and this means that the interior has to fit the many temporary inhabitants that come and go here. At the same time, it does not do to make it purely utilitarian, it has to feel like home. Elīna will show all her skill to make this happen.

In the last episode of the season, "Home idea with IKEA" visits a young family that has recently moved from a two-room apartment in a city to a house some distance from the metropolis. Elizabete and Renārs admit there is more than one room waiting for the final design, but the living room is the heart of their home and the place where most activities take place, so they wish to begin with their new start here.
